At the Wyndham Resort, Torquay on Sunday June 28, soon to be PDG Geoff James gave the gathered guests a report on the work of District 9780 during 2014 - 2015, recognised the work of his executive team with a gift and gratitude, before undertaking his last role as District Governor, the induction of Jane Cox as Governor of D9780 for the 2015 - 2016 year.

 

It was a changeover with a view, as the Wyndham Resort is right on the beach at Torquay, and has beautiful views of the rolling waves and stunning headland.

 

Incoming DG Jane, added a family touch with her gorgeous great niece Chloe presenting flowers on her behalf.  Jane outlined the thoughts of RI Director Ravi Ravindren around his theme of Be a Gift to the World, and shared her optimism for the coming year with the continuation of many projects, the induction of new Club Presidents and their teams, the opportunities to increase the good work of Rotary both locally and internationally while building on the good work of PDG Geoff and Meryl.
